Of course, goose meat is safe to consume. In fact, Dr. Agnieszka Orkusz and the experts of the University of Economics in Wroclaw, Poland, reveal that geese contain fatty acids that are much better and healthier than other types of poultry.

According to Dr. Agnieszka Orkusz, Goose Animal meat contains 70 percent of fatty acids and 23 percent more protein than other meat types. One of the most numerous fatty acids is oleic acid.

The amount of oleic acid is even rated equivalent to oleic acid in olive oil. For this reason, the goose meat structure is rated almost the same as olive oil.

Olive oil alone proves beneficial to maintain cardiovascular health. Because the structure of the goose meat is similar to olive oil, the experts believe that eating geese can also prevent heart disease.
